Who are we ?

Anti-tumor immunotherapy recently led to major advances in cancer treatment, by stimulating the patient's natural defenses (immune system) to fight the disease more effectively and sustainably.

However, these new treatments have complex operating modes and specific care needs, which can be difficult for patients, caregivers and family members to understand.

Pr Arnaud Scherpereel, Dr Clément Gauvain, Eric Wasielewski and the Pneumology and Thoracic Oncology team at Lille University Hospital (CHU) developed an interesting, simple and entertaining tool to help everyone understand anti-tumor immunotherapys rationale and mechanism, and how these innovative treatments are radically changing approaches to treat cancer.
